The Chicago Blackhawks were expected to be a threat to make it to the the NHL finals, but at 12-0-3 how long can they keep this up? In an edge of your seat victory over the Los Angeles Kings you have to think some team is gonna figure the Blackhawks out eventually, but my question is when? Well lets break there schedule down. They are in the middle of seven game home stretch, the next team coming in is Vancouver on the 19th which should be another great game, but I feel they will lose the next game to San Jose. I know the Sharks are in a slump and they are playing in Chicago but with two tough matchups back to back and all slumps do end eventually and it will here.

Which leads me to my next question: Can the Blackhawks win it all this year? My answer is, yes! Anyone who does not think this team can't is clearly not watching the same games. They have the talent, the coaching and the discipline to win it all. With the "Manitoba Trio" Sharp, Toews, and  Defenseman Duncan and more than exceptional play from Buffalo native Patrick Kane. The tools are there, the concern is being continuous with performing in clutch situations.

The Hawks are a team that has to ride this momentum all the way to the promiseland and win their second title since 2010. Goaltending has been a big surprise in Chicago Corey Crawford and Ray Emery have calmed down the Luongo rumors and have been playing really well. You have a lot of players playing great Marcus Kruger and Michael Frolik, not to mention this team also has Marian Hossa. I feel we could see a banner raised in Chicago for 2014.
