College Hoops: Friars Land in Top 25

Despite a tough loss Sunday night to #3 Michigan State, The Providence Friars men's basketball team has landed in the USA Today Coaches Poll, securing the #24 spot.  The team is now 6-1 following a great showing at the Wooden Classic in California, where they defeated #14 Arizona on Saturday afternoon.

Separately, the URI Rams won big on Sunday, knocking off Rider 82-57, rebounding nicely from a tough loss to #2 Maryland in Mexico.
