 In a classic pitching duel, the San Francisco Giants were able to outlast Detroit to take a 2-0 lead in the Fall Classic. Both Bumgarner and Fister took shutouts into the 7th inning until the stalemate was broken, setup by a timely bunt-single from Gregor Blanco. The Series now travels to Detroit for Game 3, scheduled for Saturday at 8 PM, with Ryan Vogelsong facing off against Anibel Sanchez.  |
