By The Dip (@noahattheark) Everyone knows the life expectancy of a Running Back is about four years. Unfortunately for your fantasy team, it can be as short as four weeks. Running backs are the bane of most fantasy owners, they get hurt more than they have 15 point weeks. This week out of the Top 25 running Backs there are 10 on the injury list. So what about the next tier of running back, you ask? Twelve out of the next 25 are injured in some manner, three of whom are either on Injured Reserve, or OUT for this week. So in the top 50 running backs in the league, 28 are fully healthy. That would be fine if you are in an eight team, two RB league; but most of us are not, and that means slim pickings for you.
So, in this week's projected Top 25, the names likely include such blockbusters as Lamar Miller of the Dolphins and Jacquizz Rodgers of the Falcons. Eleventh on this list is Bilal Powell of the Jets... That's right, this player is projected to be #11 in all of the NFL! This guy is available in almost every 12 team league and under tin the country. You know why? Firstly, no one has heard of him outside of the state of New Jersey; secondly, HE STINKS! Did you draft a back like Arian Foster in the first round? Too bad! He has 100 rushing yards less than DeAngelo Williams who was picked after the 8th round in most leagues. Oh, and by the way... Foster is hurt. Did you draft Reggie Bush from Detroit? That is unfortunate, because Joique Bell is stealing his job. Who the F*** is Joique Bell? Running Backs suck, next year I'm starting a "no running back" league, who wants to join? |
