FANTASY FRENZY
Where every fantasy, no matter how voracious, starts and ends with DIP!

Los Angeles is a city known for the blockbusters,  and last year the Dodgers pulled off a blockbuster trade with Boston for The Fantastic Four...
Los Angeles acquired Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford, Nick Punto, and Josh Beckett for basically a bag of chips (no dip!) with hopes that these East Coast mild men would be the super hero saviors for the West Coast city known for phenomena and flops alike.  Only one of these players, Adrian Gonzalez, was even an everyday starter on most fantasy squads... and one man alone could not save their city, one man alone couldn’t save their franchise, one man, it seems could barely make a difference.  That is until a young Cuban defector was given a call.  Swirling out of the phone booth, his Chattanooga Lookouts jersey came flying off, and out came a Dodger jersey, #66, the “Man of Steel”, Yasiel Puig.  And this Hero from a small island in the Caribbean has been putting up some interplanetary numbers.

At Bats: 35
Hits: 17
Batting Average: .486
Extra Base Hits: 6
Home Runs: 4
RBI: 10
Outfield Assists: 2

While your Fantasy Team (or LA for that matter) is by no means Metropolis, Puig, if nothing else seems to be saving Mattingly’s job.  If you were smart enough to pick up this super hero in blue then you already know, Puig is not from this planet.  If you did not pick up the “Man of Steel” then package together all your Avengers, your Spiderman, your League of Justice members and trade for him... oh, and you may have to include some draft picks!  If I were you, I would include Ethier in that trade because when Carl and Matt come back “HE GONE”, Puig is here to stay!
