A real shocker here today ladies and gentlemen (shakes head sarcastically)... Carson Palmer has been traded, along with Oakland's 7th round pick, for the Cardinals 6th round pick and a conditional undisclosed pick sometime in the future. The Raider organization decided to trade Palmer after refusing to take a pay cut and then acquiring Matt Flynn from Seattle.
Cardinals fans, I am here to tell you that Palmer may work out for Arizona. They do have a couple good wide receivers and a great one in Larry Fitzgerald. The one thing that concerns me is the O-Line may not be cut out for Carson's style of play. He does tend to hold the ball for more than a couple seconds and is not very mobile at all, and seeing the O-Line could not stop a tonka truck from rolling by them last season this maybe a big problem. Raider fans Congrats, you turned something out of nothing today. $13 million cleared from the cap spending bringing in $5 million of salary from Flynn and $2.5 million on newly acquired corner back Tracey Porter, the Raiders save $6 million and are looking to spend that money on FS Usoma Brown and CB Mike Jenkins who have both visited the Raiders this week. The bad news is no one really knows what Matt Flynn is capable of. He had two games one was a loss to New England and the was a 450 yard performance under his belt. In Oakland we expect the worst but hope for the best. -Stephen Moul |
