The San Francisco Giants finished off the Detroit Tigers with four straight victories to claim their second World Series Championship in three years. Detroit's dynamic offense failed to ignite, as they were outscored 16-6 over the short series. I guess too much rest is not a good thing... On to the Hot Stove Season!
