Hockey Homer: Beat the Bandwagon

Hey New England sports fans!

Question: is it time to completely allow the Boston Bruins back into our lives and hearts?

Answer: Yes.
The Bruins have won five of their last six games.

Now, I’ll admit that it doesn’t feel like that the Bruins are winning games but, I assure you they are.

The losses of Johnny Boychuk to a trade with the Islanders, plus injuries to Zdeno Chara (knee) and Kevan Miller (shoulder) have kind of put the Bruins into a choppy seasonal situation. It’s also transformed them into a who’s who of a NHL Team.

I mean, if you look at the Bruins' defense corps -- you will see many new faces.

The likes of Zach Trotman, David Warsofsky, and Joe Morrow leave even hardcore Bruins faithful checking the Providence Bruins website for additional information on the replacements.

All I’m saying, is that if you’re reading this article and are wondering if you should hitch your wagon to the Bruins now or later, here is my advice:

Jump aboard now!

You may be mocked at first, but will look like a trendsetter in two more weeks when everyone else comes out from underneath their rocks of shame,  knowing nothing of the daily goings on with our beloved 8-spoked B's.
