It's sickening and disturbing. I refer to the recent off the field issues certain key "franchise" players are dealing with the NFL. Although it's already week three in the season all the talk on the air, by the water cooler and barbershops nationwide is on Ray Rice and his stone cold domestic assault and Adrian Peterson's child abuse case. Throw in a Carolina player here a 49er there and you have a full conversation buffet of NFL felons. What is the NFL to do?

Do the owners care enough about their league's image to better evaluate talent? Is Roger Goodell the only guy to blame or just the most visible?
