Clayton Kershaw has been the most dominant arm in the game in 2014. The hands down unanimous shoe in for the CY Young award. However is the league's MVP?

Thursday evening on the LIVE Podcast Parente & Pal this week the NL MVP race was a topic for discussion. As to was the Oakland Athletics and their long time GM Billy Beane.

Drew Jenkins writer for RantSports.com joined WBOB's Pal to preview the post season and discuss Beane & Kershaw.

"Beane will be the GM in Oakland as long as he wants to be" Jenkins said when asked if A's GM Billy Beane's job would bein jeopardy if the team is knocked out of the playoffs early.

Also on tap for the Podcast was Jameis Winston. NoledOut.com writer Mike Ferguson joined the show to recap Winston's antics last week and help paint the picture as to Winston's character. "He's a sharp likeable guy" Ferguson stated.

He also helped preview Florida State's big ACC matchup this week against NC State. Pal and Ferguson once again talked about the big Notre Dame FSU game in October and the playoff implications.  "That could be FSU's toughest test" Ferguson said about the Irish.
