On a hot, muggy night in Pawtucket, the PawSox were at it again. Coming off a 2-1 walk-off win against the Charlotte Knights in a Wednesday matinee, the boys at McCoy welcomed in the Toledo Mud Hens for a 4-game series going into the weekend. The PawSox took the opening game 5-3, getting major offensive contributions from the likes of CF Jackie Bradley Jr. and LF Quintin Berry as well as a strong outing performance by starter Jess Todd (who got the victory in the game).
After the game, PawSox manager Kevin Boles sat down with the media to talk about the game, the individual performances by JBJ and Todd, as well as other topics.
