Tonight's game was the 11th time that the PawSox played in a game that went into extra innings. So far in 2015, they're 4-6 in extra inning games, including 2-2 at McCoy Stadium. After tonight's marathon, the PawSox now raise that record to 5-6 in extra innings with a dramatic 3-2 victory in 11 innings.
After the game, PawSox skipper Kevin Boles sat down with the media to discuss about a variety of topics such as OF Shane Victorino's performance in his first start of his injury rehab assignment from Boston (Victorino has been on the disabled list since May 24 with a left calf strain), the performance of starter LHP Brian Johnson, a scary collision in the top of the 7th inning, and much more.
