Already things are looking high for the Pawtucket Red Sox, coming off a roadtrip where they went 5-3. now they come back to McCoy for another 8 game series. From May 31st and into June 4th both teams will be matching up at McCoy in their first 4-game series of the season.
Game 1 kicked things off with a bang. Temperatures were scorching in the mid-80s before the game's first pitch. But when the weather heats up, it only means one thing: time for the long balls. The winning pitcher was Ryan Rowland-Smith, picking up his 3rd win after pitching a shutout 12th inning. The PawSox will continue their series with the Chiefs on Saturday at 6:05 pm as the PawSox will be having Star Wars night. Then the series continues on into Sunday at 1:05 pm followed by the series finale on Monday at 7:05 pm. After that a 4-game series at home against the Charlotte Knights, the PawSox will face the Chiefs again at Syracuse from June 8th to the 11th.
