SideLeague, Chicago's premier daily fantasy sports app, announced today the launch of its $100,000 Perfect Lineup Challenge. For the remainder of the MLB regular season, SideLeague users will be able to submit fantasy baseball lineups using the app (free for iPhone and Android) to win a grand prize of $100,000.
Featuring elements such as minimal entry fees and no salary cap, this challenge will enable fantasy sports fans to compete against each other to create the winning lineup. "Our contests are designed so that everyone can play and win," said Tony Giordano, vice president, SideLeague. "I encourage every person who loves sports to enter the contest. Each and every lineup submitted has a chance to win the $100,000 prize, even the free contests." Participants must choose players that they think will score the highest number of points possible in all ten baseball player positions. "SideLeague's main focus is bringing casual play to the fantasy sports arena," said Amanda Pearson, marketing coordinator, SideLeague. "While other daily sites have high stakes contests with thousands of people, we offer 25 person contests with entry fees ranging from free to $10. This challenge is no different." Last winter WGN Radio's David Kaplan advertised SideLeague's (then largest) Super Bowl XLIX Sweepstakes. The winner and guest were flown to Arizona for the game and given VIP treatment.
