1) The Patriots defense is in a serious "hole."

The hole I'm referring to is that created by the injuries to Wilfork, Kelly, Talib and signal caller Jarod Mayo. The Jets went back to their ground and pound ways and rushed the football 52 times for 177 yards More importantly, they led in time of possession by keeping the ball over 46 minutes. If teams can continue to do what the Jets did last Sunday, QB Tom Brady will not be afforded any time with his young receiving corp. And as long as the best player on New England is on the sideline, the chance to win for their opponent increases.

2) Bears return man Devin Hester a Hall of Famer.

Is it about time the NFL recognizes that special teams are exactly that... special. In the spirit of former Bills standout Steve Tasker and former Raiders punter Ray Guy, it's time the league pays homage to these best at their positions. Hester tied Deion Sanders for first all time with his 19th career return touchdown last and is destined once again for the pro bowl. He and other "special" players should be crowned for their achievements on the gridiron. Time for Canton to open the door and let them in.

3) Back to the future in Indianapolis.

Must have been nice for Colt fans to see what unfolded between the past and the future of their teams QB position. The greatness of their past with former beloved signal caller Peyton Manning, and a continued glimpse into their future with Andrew Luck. I just hope Colts nation realizes how good they have it. One great QB to another who is primed to have as much success. If Colt nation didn't see it last Sunday, well, they just don't get it.
