Oh hello there. Welcome to another edition of PawSox Updates by yours truly. We had a little scare earlier in the month as they were coming off a 9-19 record in July. But now with the playoffs in sight, it’s time for the boys in Pawtucket get ready to play ball.
Where They Stand
Less than two weeks left in the season and it seems like the PawSox have caught on fire. Currently they’re on a 5-game winning streak and have won 10 of their last 11 games, putting them back into first place in the IL North Division at 72-60 and 0.5 games above the 72-61 Rochester Red Wings. With 11 games left in the season and all of them against divisional foes, the PawSox have a chance to take first place.

Preparing for the EndGuess who is in Boston now
The end of the season is almost here. That means two things: playoffs are coming up and the MLB roster is going to be expanding. This means that a bunch of PawSox players will get their shot to play at the major league level. Already SS Xander Bogaerts is at the majors. Now the question is who else is going to be joining him.
Making a Final Stand
After finishing up their series in Scranton, PA against the Railriders, the PawSox head back to McCoy for their last home stand. They’ll be playing none other than the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Railriders for their last match up of the season from August 25th-27th. The PawSox are 2-3 against the Railriders at home this season. Then it’s the final series at home against the Syracuse Chiefs from August 28th-31st. The season series between the two teams is split 6-6, but the PawSox are 3-1 at McCoy
That’s it for your PawSox weekly update. This is Scoop Fox, signing off.
