By Kevin Aherne It was a heck of a night for Lebron James and Dwayne Wade.
The superstar tandem led the Heat to their second consecutive title with a 95-88 victory over the versatile San Antonio Spurs. Wade and James, who have rarely been dominant at the same time, put up a combined 60 points and 22 rebounds in the victory. The Spurs put forth a formidable effort, but a missed bunny by Tim Duncan in the final minute that helped seal their fate. So, what could have been a fifth title in 13 years turned into a veritable passing of the torch. Love 'em or hate 'em... The Heat are NBA's newest dynasty. |
