wheeling and dealing: day 2!

Wes saying Fair well, Reggie running through 8 mile, the Seahawks continuing to get better, and of course Amendola. Yes it is day two of NFL free agency and some teams keep getting it right others keep getting it wrong.

Today, I will start with the big losers today and that is the New England Patriots. Yes you got Danny Amendola but in return you lost Wes Welker to Peyton Manning and the Broncos. The reason why I feel this an awful move is because Amendola can not be your number one Receiver, a great number two, but not one. Now, if you go out and get a Greg Jennings on day three you will be right back in the win column but as of today Mr. 100 catch season is gone and Brady needs help.

The big winner of today is a tie between the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks. Detroit got the best Running Back in free agency in Reggie Bush. The biggest problem in Detroit is Stafford can not throw fifty times a game and win. There needs to be a balance and Detroit needed a Running Back to manage the game and help the Lions win a the NFC North. I rate this move the best one of day two.

The Seahawks now have a pass rusher to add to the list of moves they of this off season. Cliff Avril was the most underrated D-linemen in this free agent class by that I mean very under the radar. It is obvious he wants to win and he feels he can do that in Seattle. The big Question is not if Seattle can win a championship? The question is when.
