Dear Steven Nikitas: You do not represent us. Sincerely, White People Mr. Nikitas, I reach out today in response to your racist manifesto otherwise known as “Steven Nikitas: Here's the solution for black America” published in the Berkshire Eagle on June 12th. Having read your column, and after considering your position, I enthusiastically and politely request that you recuse yourself from speaking on behalf of white people. This week on the Rotunda, host Scott Rotondo was away from the mic, but co-host Tom Paolino and WBOB vet David Clyde took took the reins and welcomed Daria Bruno, a Pro-Gun Pro-2nd Amendment Radio Icon to discuss various issues involving firearms and violence -- including the recent shooting in Charleston, South Carolina.
Coincidences rarely occur in politics. Yesterday, at the height of Governor Gina Raimondo's push to get her toll plan through the General Assembly, we learned a bridge in Cranston was closed down by the RIDOT. Interestingly, this bridge happens to be a bridge used by Speaker Nicholas Mattiello to travel from his law office to the Statehouse.
Are politics involved in the bridge closure? |
