Check out who we have playing this week:

Royal Ram: Feel good folk with that old soul sound, Royal Ram has been a seed growing for over 10 years in old school friends Lisa Pellegrino and Derek LaBrie of Providence, RI. A warm sound that is sure to heal a broken spirit, their brand of playful folk textured by a brassy hue will remind you of a simpler time and inspire dreams of all that you are capable of. Check out their Facebook for more info and make sure to check them out at The Spot tonight.

Pretty William-O: Rustic, old-time style folk music that hits straight to the soul, Providence's Pretty William-O is one of those diamonds in the rough who is a best-kept secret when it comes to the vibrant Providence music scene. Songs about love, God and life in general along with a few classic numbers should definitely guarantee a good time once he starts strumming that guitar. Check out Pretty William-O's Soundcloud to hear some pretty damn good tracks.

der Hagopian & Friends: Jeffrey's alter ego will be taking center stage with a bunch of secret special guests for what should be the most unpredictable part of the evening. He'll be reciting poems, spitting rhymes, playing guitar but who else might be playing the drums or even busting out a few rhymes of their own? The only way to find out is to come to The Spot tonight and see what's going on. Log on to der Hagopian's Facebook to see what to expect in the near future.

Nupur & The Boyfriends: Fronted by Providence musician Nupur Shridhar who is all the way from Bhilai, India, her band featuring Tucker Dalton on percussion, Steve Carmody on saxophone and bass and Samuel Adler-Bell on guitar will be finishing off the night with some wicked awesome folk tunes. Take a look and give a listen of Nupur's Bandcamp to please your senses.

As with every Monday at The Spot with 990WBOB, a great time is always guaranteed. Check out 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast page or the Mondays On Blast Facebook event page for more information on what bands will be playing in the future at the ultimate destination to kick the week off right.
