The YaBeautifuls: A brand new garage rock duo that has been championed by 990WBOB's Rob Duguay as one of the best new acts to hit Providence, The YaBeautifuls consisting of Irvin De La Rosa on guitar and vocals with Gabriel Lozada on drums and bass are sure to blow you away. Isle Of Rhodes: With Robert Farren on keyboards and Colin Behram on drums, Brooklyn duo Isle Of Rhodes are surely something else. A name purely inspired by the Rhodes keyboard Farren uses, Isle Of Rhodes have a sound that'll take your breath away. Check out their website for more info and music.

Comic Book Keith: Comic Book Keith is a new original rock band which formed in Newport Rhode Island. Founding members Keith Pickard from outside Boston, and JP Carpenito, from Brooklyn, had been writing songs together for a few years. The music has taken on a vibrant energy highlighting the talents of this ensemble and allowing the natural chemistry amongst the band to shine.

Bored With Four: Bored with Four are 3 guys who have been trying to record and play shows for something like 6 years now. Collectively, the 3 guys play with/for or collaborate with such artists as: Symmetry, The Dear Hunter, Joe Parillo, Fort Francis, Roz Raskin, The Empire Shall Fall, Wensday, and a whole bunch of others. Their sound can be described sorta like this: Take catchy pop songs, play them on rhodes/bass/drums, mostly play them in 5/4 but not all obvious about it, and let your drummer be jazzy. Oh, and the singer has a nice voice, too. Give their Facebook page a looksee to listen to their awesome tunes.
