Scott and Jeff from French Hawes Beer Reviews again bringing you more craft beer video reviews and some brewery news! The greater good imperial brewing co. is opening their tasting room in Worcester. They only brew beers that range from 8 to 13 %, hence the name imperial brewing! Here is our review from the brewery. Oh, and they are really good beers too!
It's that time of the year again when the beer flows green and it seems like the world is suddenly Irish. An entire month of parades and decorations all leading up to one drunken mess. While the amateurs sip their overpriced Guinness the pro's or seasoned vets of the WBOB Liquid Lunch team have a few less stereotypical suggestions to help you celebrate the occasion.
The boys from French Hawes Beer Reviews took two beers from local brewery, Proclamation Ale and had them battle to the death. Well not really, but they did compare two of their more notable selections. Here are the taste test results for Tendril IPA vs. Ethereous IPA.

Here and there I get my hands on some fine brews from one of my favorite breweries, Monkish Brewing Company out of Torrance, CA. I have had about a dozen or so different IPAs and DIPAs from them, along with some collaboration beers they've done and all have been pretty incredible. All of them have had that good Monkish base with minor tweaks and ingredients to keep me coming back for more

For the first time, I will be attending Extreme Beer Fest. This epic beer festival will be held on February 2-3 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The 3 sessions will be Friday from 6-9:30, Saturday from 12-3:30, and then 6-9:30 on Saturday night. Am I excited? Sure. Anyone who has seen the lineup knows it’s going to be insane. What I’m most excited about is the opportunity to go as a host of a show on 990 WBOB.com, the NEWBD Tap Takeover. While my partner Ben (the real brains of the operation) will not be attending due to a work conference in Texas, I have recruited someone to accompany me on this epic journey. Todd is a friend of the NEWBD show, and an avid beer connoisseur. He even co-hosted the show with me one week when Ben was MIA, and he had tons to contribute. I asked him what he was most excited about at EBF, and he contributed the following:
Even the company bringing Clydesdale horses through your living room on Super Bowl Sunday knows that craft beer drinkers can't be ignored. Hosts and hostesses of Super Bowl parties shouldn't ignore the preference either, especially when GrowlerWerks' uKegs are able to pour some of the nation's best beer, which doesn't always come in a can.
