PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's basketball was defeated by Boston College, 69-60, on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Conte Forum in Boston, Mass. The Friars are now 6-2, while Boston moves to 4-3 on the season. Sophomore guard Kris Dunn (New London, Conn.) recorded a career-high 24 points going 10-of-13 from the field, while also recording six assists. Dunn was followed by senior Carson Desrosiers (Windham,N.H.) with 15 points and six rebounds. The first half ended in a tie, 34-34, with exactly seven lead changes and tied 11 times. Desrosiers led the Friars with 12 points and recorded three rebounds. He was followed by Dunn who registered 10 points with six assists. The game ended with the Friars shooting 39 percent from the field, while going 55 percent from the line. Although the Eagles recorded 14 turnovers, versus the Friars 13. Boston College's Olivier Hanlan recorded 24 points to tie Dunn for the game high.
