NBA Lottery Results

5/20/2014

The NBA lottery is a crazy unique concept designed to prevent teams from tanking their way through a season. This year's ping pong ball selection was exceptional, considering two of the league's biggest markets had a lifeless season.
Yet with all the speculation and hope the 2014 Lottery was rather dull predictable. The Clevland Cavaliers won the #1 overall pick in the draft. The Cavs had the best chance of winning and they did. This however is the second consecuive year they won.  Philadelphia will pick second again, not a surprise at al. They head the second best chance of winning the lottery.  More of the same predictability with the third pick as the Bucks took home that honor.

As for the major market clubs, the Boston Celtics will pick 6th on June 26th. The Lakers will pick 7th
in what is expected by many to be one of the deepest drafts in decades.
