Boston sports are on the top of the world. Not just the Northeast or the United States or North America, but the entire world. When it comes to a place with professional sports teams, none are as consistently successful as the teams from the greater Boston area. That got me thinking, why is that? Is there some sort of correlation or is it one huge coincidence? Tyler Krusz
“It’s kind of a mindf-ck.” When the Warriors punched their ticket to the NBA Finals, Draymond Green uttered this very Draymond Green-ish quote about not going up against Lebron James for the fifth season in a row. Instead, Green’s Warriors will match up against the Toronto Raptors, led by Kawhi Leonard, in pursuit of their fourth title in five seasons.

It’s one thing if you need to play a doubleheader due to weather postponement. It’s another thing if the doubleheader you were supposed to play gets postponed. That’s what happened to the Pawtucket Red Sox this past Tuesday in their midweek series against the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Originally the two teams were supposed to play a doubleheader on Tuesday, May 28, with Game 2 being a make-up game for a game back on April 22 that was postponed due to weather. Instead, the doubleheader was rained out. So Wednesday’s contest was turned into a doubleheader with Game 1 being the regular game being played while Game 2 was the make-up game for Tuesday’s rainout. C2 Energy Capital, LLC, a rapidly growing investor in renewable energy and storage assets, announced today the completion of the largest solar project installed on a landfill in Tennessee. C2 Energy Capital provided financing and support services for the development and construction of the 2.7 MW solar power generation plant located just outside of the City of Somerville, TN. The solar plant was installed on a capped landfill leased from the County of Fayette.

Welcome PawSox fans of all ages to WBOB’s PawSox Weekly Notebook, a weekly guide to all what’s happening with your Pawtucket Red Sox. That’s enough of the pleasantries so let’s get down to business. Before we begin, I would personally like to dedicate this week's PawSox Notebook to those who have served in the military and made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It is because of that, yours truly is allowed to safely cover and report on the PawSox. So to that, i say thank you and this one is for you. |
