WATCH: Idiot Providence Driver Films Himself Driving 100+ MPH, Promptly Crashes Into Dump Truck11/30/2016
We all speed, sometimes.
But not many of us are willing (or stupid enough) to eclipse the 100 MPH level, especially not on Rhode Island's heavily trafficked Six-Ten Connector. Enter Onasi Olio-Rojas. The 20-year old driver was seriously hurt after crashing into a garbage truck Wednesday afternoon, after swerving his Honda Civic in and out of traffic, using the breakdown lane at times, to reach speeds of more than 115 MPH on the Providence highway. Worse, Olio-Rojas was filming himself, posting to Facebook Live the entire ordeal. Let's hope that Mr. Olio-Rojas recovers, and learned valuable lessons in speeding, distracted driving, and handing evidence to police with a bow on it. The highway was obstructed Wednesday for more than two hours during the rescue/cleanup efforts. Watch the scary video below!
Governor Gina M. Raimondo and Secretary Elizabeth Roberts announced on Monday that Rhode Island has partnered with the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to leverage nearly $130 million in federal funds over the next five years to further transform our healthcare system to support better care and healthier Rhode Islanders.

Being a point guard for an NCAA Division I basketball team is an intense experience that requires dedication, discipline, concentration, and BASIC MATH SKILLS. Unfortunately for the Bryant Bulldogs, freshman guard Ikenna Ndugba only possessed three of those four qualities Monday night for their intrastate match-up with the Brown University Bulldogs.
In a tightly contested game, Brown's Tavon Blackmon scored with 3.8 seconds left to put his team ahead. Bryant, trailing by just one point, had nearly four seconds (an eternity in basketball) to drive down the court and put up the potential game winning shot - except, there was one problem: The only person on the court with the ball was the only player on the court who didn't know the score. Believing that Bryant still held the lead, Ndugba ignored his wide open teammates and held the ball, tossing it in the air in celebratory fashion as the clock expired. Oops! Watch the awfully executed play below!

As far as sequels go, Bad Santa 2 isn't horrible.. ...But it's still totally unnecessary. As a standalone film, the original Bad Santa is a holiday classic and one of the funniest movies of the 2000s. At the time, it was shocking, crude, reprehensible, but still heartwarming. It also, for better or for worse, inspired countless "Bad" imitators like Bad Teacher, Bad Grandpa, and Bad Moms, to name a few.

Sometimes the toughest games that are played are against opponents that know you the best. After getting some time off with Thanksgiving, the New England Patriots set out on the road to East Rutherford, New Jersey, to take on the one opponent that always have given them fits in the past: the New York Jets. Interestingly enough, Tom Brady’s career record against the Jets is 22-7, including 10-4 down in East Rutherford, New Jersey. However with the recent struggles and inconsistencies of the defense and the given track record of how the Jets defense fared against Brady in the past, this would not be an easy game to play. |
