Now it's Germany who is upset with US and this time it's not over spying tactics. New reports from the US Treasury criticizing the Germany economic policies. Snowden said this and Snowden said that. Snowden said your wires are tapped. Spain and France beware. Snowden is giving everyone a scare. It appears at least according to former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, that not only is the NSA spying on us. They have also tapped the phones of millions of citizens of both France and Spain.
George Goner, for The Haunted Cabaret 1942 - 2013 On Facebook, announcing our Haunted Cabaret tribute, I referred to Lou Reed as a musical innovator, Rock and Roll Animal, and personification of New York City Cool. I stand by every word.
Pal - [email protected] Each year we at 990WBOB work diligently and relentlessly to bring to the masses a charity show like no other. BoobStock is an event people have come to look forward to. A celebration of life. A time to remember what we have and forget about what we don't. And for most, an opportunity to give a little and receive a lot.
BoobStock started five years ago as a tribute to my dear mother. As a breast cancer survivor, she taught me the value of charity growing up. She instilled in me the spirit of giving back. And with those principals in mind I, along with my team, set out to help those women who were currently struggling with the disease. At first, we had no idea what to do. All we knew was whatever we did it had to Stand apart from the rest. We wanted to create a unique charity show that was more than a parade of guilt. A show that was more than a bunch a bands and a couple of dollars. An annual celebration intending on paying tribute to the one universal truth: Everyone loves boobs. Juvenile in theory, yes. However, am I wrong? George Goner In the spirit of the Halloween Season, here are five excellent horror movies watched regularly at the Haunted Cabaret. I won't say all-time favorites, because all-time favorites change according to my mood and the phases of the moon. The exception is Psycho. Psycho is always number one with a butcher knife. The shower murder and dead stuffed mom in the basement are cool, but the best moment is the scene when Norman Bates stands looking out over the swamp that holds his victims, face in shadow, an image of darkness and evil more scary than Michael Myers and Jason combined. Alfred Hitchcock knew how to make a horror movie (His other scary classic is The Birds, a film that shares several themes in common with Psycho). Too bad he didn't make more of them! |
