Instead of genuflecting to the guy who single-handedly dropkicked their organization into Loserville 12 years ago with an over-the-top, disingenuous pre-game ceremony, what the New York Yankees should’ve done last night was re-activate The Rocket and let him fire whatever’s left of his fastball right between the 3 and the 4 on the back of David Ortiz’s jersey, because that’s about as much “respect” and “honor” Big Papi deserves in the Bronx.

Cranston drivers beware! The city fundraisers - or as they are commonly refereed to as - the police have been in full force most of this past month. What are they looking for? Suspicious behavior? Criminal activity? Oh, the contrary - the Cranston PD are in full force chest flexing pursuit of Susie home maker and you average hard working Joe American. Why are they preying on Cranston's fine hard working citizens?
The New England Patriots are off to a 3-0 start for the 10th time in team history and for the sixth time under Bill Belichick. The Patriots finished the month of September 3-0, marking their 22nd undefeated month since 2000 (not including January), the most in the NFL during that time frame. Indianapolis is second with 15 undefeated months.
The Patriots head into the new month with a 49-16 (.754) October record since 2000, the best record in the NFL. Additionally, they are 29-4 (.878) at home during the month of October. The Patriots are 13-1 at Gillette Stadium against the Buffalo Bills.
