This year marks the third year for Scare-A-Con New England. This has to be one of the most fun conventions that I have had the pleasure of attending. I have made so many great friends while attending this convention in the past and it has set in a motion a whole range of opportunities for me that I probably wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Scare-A-Con, show promoter JV Johnson will be joining my co-host Matty and I on Shock Treatment this Tuesday at 9pm. Johnson will let the audience in on what they can expect from this event and just what goes into putting a full fan convention together. This year’s event, brings back fan favorites and show ambassadors. On Monday, IHOP Restaurants announced that it is going by a new name – IHOb.
Since the news broke last week on the brand’s social media sites, fans can’t get enough with more than 30,000 twitter users speculating what the change could “b”, guessing everything from bacon to brunch to bananas. The change in fact celebrates the debut of the brand’s new Ultimate Steakburgers, a line-up of seven mouth-watering, all-natural burgers.

Welcome PawSox fans of all ages to WBOB’s PawSox Notebook. As the old saying goes, it’s not how you start off but rather how you finish. What started off as a promising week for the PawSox with a winning their first 3 out of 5 games suddenly turned into a fiasco that could only equate as walking down a flight of stairs to the halfway point and then falling down the rest of the way.
Giovanni Feroce, Republican candidate for Governor, did not mince words following reports that the Raimondo administration failed to file time-sensitive appeal in a court case involving dozens of nursing homes in the state. Feroce believes that Raimondo is lying to the public in her responses.

On a cool Wednesday evening, the Pawtucket Red Sox and the Louisville Bats took to McCoy for their second game of a 3-game series. In the first game on Tuesday night, the Bats scored 3-runs in the top of the 9th inning to break a 4-4 tie before winning the game with the final score of 7-4. Looking to help the PawSox get back on the winning track was RHP William Cuevas (2-3, 3.56) while the Bats countered with RHP Robert Stephenson (4-4, 3.52) to get them the second win of the series. |
