For the first time in its history, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition will feature its first transgender model. Valentina Sampaio, a transgender woman from Brazil, has become the first transgender person to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine. This isn’t the first big gig Valentina has landed. In 2017, she was the first transgender model to land a Vogue magazine cover and last year she was the first trans person to represent the Victoria’s Secret’s lingerie line. It’s definitely a step forward but we should be asking ourselves a step towards what?  Mark Colley

Warwick,RI 2020. Shoppers hear that Ann&Hope has been beaten by the pandemic and a fire-sale is going on. I went to the parking lot to observe. People dressed as if they should be at work were among those who emerged from the massive building with sheets,quilts and curtains by the armload. This is what the death of a long-standing retail enterprise looks like. It looks a bit like sharks that have smelled blood in the water. Boston College is headed into a new era following the hiring of Athletic Director Patrick Kraft and Head Coach Jeff Halfey. Kraft lands at the Heights following a very successful tenure at Temple where the athletic department saw record high GPAs throughout the majority of sports, and Halfey takes his first head coaching position following a CFP appearance as the defensive coordinator at Ohio State. College Football Impact's Pat Sullivan spoke with the editor of BCBulletin.com, the Sports Illustrated channel directed to the BC Eagles, about what to expect out of the new faces in Chestnut Hill.
