We celebrate the resignation of Governor Andrew Cuomo after a year of calling for his departure. We also break down the NYC Key to the City Pass, and the March for Medical Freedom Rally we attended. We discuss Cori Bush's comments regarding her own security, defunding the police, and the hypocrisy behind it all. #Cuomo #CuomoResigns #CoriBush #DefundThePolice #NYC #VaccinePassport #KeytoNYCPass

Last week United Airlines became the first major airline to throw down the vaccine gauntlet and require that all of their U.S. employees inject themselves with an experimental drug. That’s right, if you wish to continue your working relationship with United Airlines, you need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 25th or five weeks after the Food and Drug Administration grants full approval to any one of the vaccines currently out there. Why, because they care? No, that’s not it… not really. They simply want you to believe that they care. If they really cared they’d allow you to make your own medical choices on what you do to your body. So much for ‘following the science’ and ‘my body, my choice.’ Ryan L. Fox
Well another MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone. Unfortunately for Red Sox Nation, Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom pretty much stood pat the entire time while other teams made trades to improve their teams. The few trades that he actually made, however, made some people face palm and wonder what was going on (i.e. trading for an injured OF Kyle Schwarber instead of addressing the need for a 1B). Although the team was mildly active at this trade deadline, in year’s past they made similar moves in year’s past that paid off both in the short term and in the long term. Some of these trade moves even helped propel the team into the World Series. So let us dive into these moves and see what they were and how they helped the Red Sox in years past. Mark Colley
Nationally, COVID-19 cases are soaring. The country is averaging more than seven times the amount of cases per day as it was at the start of July, and in Rhode Island, the number of positive tests has increased by 237 percent over the last 14 days. This all begs the question: Should Rhode Island re-institute its mask mandate? On Friday July 30th live on 990WBOB.com the Tow Doomed Men reviewed Buttonwoods Brewery's: RI Silver, Mex on the Beach, and Object Permanence beers while helping raise money for the JoAnne M. Sullivan cancer fund.
