During the Belichick-Brady Era, the New England Patriots have struggled playing the Denver Broncos while playing in the Mile High City. Going into the Week 10 match up with the Broncos, the Pats were missing some key players due to injury. Wideout Chris Hogan, right tackle Marcus Cannon, and defensive tackle Malcolm Brown were all out due to injury. Luckily they got back TE Martellus Bennett (through questionable means) to help bolster their offensive weaponry. But on a night that everybody was watching, one group of players stepped up to the plate and ultimately help swing the game in favor of the visitors. Tyler Salk
Twenty-four is a number the Patriots haven’t seen in awhile. In a conversation between Patriots team reporter Meredith Gorman and myself, it was revealed that the feelings around the locker room indicated that Stephon Gilmore will play after not playing over the past four weeks. In his absence, the Patriot’s defense has looked a lot better. As with years past, they’re giving up yardage, but have been limiting points. They currently sit in the middle of the pack for points allowed, however prior to Gilmore’s injury they had allowed the most points. That defense has faced other injuries as well, with Dont’a Hightower’s season concluding early, with the addition of injuries to Eric Rowe and Malcolm Brown, the efforts by the “reserves” has to be applauded. It will have to be again if the Patriots win, because Malcolm Brown has been ruled out again.

It’s time to start working on your best Negan costume. Or perhaps you prefer Marvel Avenger cosplay. Either way, get ready because the Rhode Island Comic Con (RICC) is set to return to Providence next month. Dubbed “the biggest show in the littlest state,” the RICC takes place on Nov. 10-12 throughout downtown Providence. Now in its seventh year, the attendance has grown exponentially each year since the event drew roughly 15,000 attendees in 2012 and over 80,000 in 2016. Having outgrown the Dunkin Donuts Center and the Rhode Island Convention center last year, this year’s festivities also take place at the nearby Omni Hotel.
Military.com is showcasing Veterans Day Discounts again this year with one of the most comprehensive lists of over 100 restaurants, retailers, and travel and recreation organizations seeking to show their appreciation for service members, veterans, retirees and their families.
