Last Wednesday the partisan impeachment inquiry moved into public view and the thinking American public quickly learned two things. 1) Just like the fake Russian collusion hoax (which has all but disappeared from the Democrats list of Trump-hating talking points), the “impeachment inquiry” is the same Democrat witch hunt to search for possible crimes to remove a duly elected President. They have nothing. 2) The Democrats have just handed President Donald J. Trump four more years. How can some Americans sit by and be fine with Adam Schiff’s attack on not just a sitting President, but the foundation of our American Republic? Simple, they’re un-American. Ryan L. Fox
After a 2-week layoff from their last game, the New England Patriots were back in action. This time around, they were on the road down in the City of Brotherly Love to take on an opponent that has scarred some Pats fans after their giant debacle in Super Bowl LII, the Philadelphia Eagles. Dubbed as a Super Bowl rematch, many Pats fans tuned in for some revenge. On a cold and mildly windy night down at Lincoln Financial Field, the two teams squared off. Unlike the Super Bowl match up 2 years ago in Minneapolis, this was more of a defensive battle instead of a shootout. In the first of many, Joe Ferro sits down to try Buttonwoods Brewery's "Different Frequencies" a raw India Pale Ale in our 90 second beer review.
Utilizing low temps they were able to eliminate all volatile aromatics and extract only the juicy flavors of the hops and create a nutrient rich environment for their yeast to work, giving us a full rich body, high hop flavor beer that you can't help but enjoy! Check them out at buttonwoodsbrewery.com or in person at 530 Wellington Ave Cranston, RI. Mark Colley
It looks like Michael Bloomberg is no longer just considering a run for president. On Tuesday, Bloomberg made the trip to Arkansas to file for the state primary, as he had previously done for Alabama. He got much criticism from the press about a potential run, but seems intent on following through and getting on the ballot. His staff is “recruiting potential campaign staff at a furious pace,” according to The New York Times. And throughout it all, Rhode Island could play a surprisingly important role in the national campaign of a former New York mayor. |
