By Kevin Aherne ![]() WARREN, R.I. (AP) — A man leaving a children’s pony show got himself into hot water afterward by stopping at a liquor store and bringing his Shetland pony inside. For Full Story... Click Here This would seem like an odd story, if it weren't coming from the East Bay. But this seems like reasonble conduct for Warren. The actual bad guy in this story isn't the pony's owner, William Saviano... but rather the store owner.
If I owned a store, and saw a man attempt to enter my business with a live horse, I would stop him at the door, and say: No thanks, that pony is probably going to s*** all over my store, keep it outside!" But no... the proprietor of this booze barn seemed to get a kick out of having the farm animal wandering his aisles. So when the horse does, what horses do... he calls the cops!? That's just bad business. |
