For the better part of the last decade 990WBOB.com has been working diligently to bring to our audience, quality comprehensive entertainment. Each Saturday we proudly broadcast a variety of different  one hour format, political journal style shows. We pride ourselves on being agenda free, as a media outlet. Allowing our  professional personalities to spread their message and views on the issues of today. 990WBOB's Saturday Freedom Lineup has developed the notoriety and audience to rival our corporate terrestrial dial friends. 

This week in the spirit of that tradition we are pleased to announce our newest edition to the Saturday live broadcast schedule. Veterans News Radio (or VNR) will debut this Saturday at 1pm eastern. For the first time in recent memory, a recognized media outlet will broadcast a show by our veterans, for our veterans.

A reoccurring guest on 990WBOB's political talk shows, VNR's host High Speed Sal has accepted the challenge of his own one hour program. In our initial conversations, it was clear Salvatore had a great deal to say. His experience in the armed forces has given him, a rare perspective on what our veterans are subjected to you. "My understanding of the military industrial complex is quite vast considering that I have personally lived through it.", he said in a recent interview. "This is why founded poisonedveterans.org and have lobbied locally and nationally. Hence my idea in having a radio show. I believe that veterans are getting the short end of the stick and we deserve a voice." Salvatore went on to explain his military career in more detail "I was to put it lightly, an agent with the US Navy for over 15 years, I can't really get into it deep. What I can say is that I was in the Mediterranean and I covered north Africa and the Middle East. I started my trek with the US government when I became an MP in 1982." He went on to apologize about not being able to speak to specifically on his duties for obvious reasons.  

Veterans News Radio will not only cater to vets, but it also maintains a mission statement to enlighten those with their head buried in the sand. Sal's passion for justice and his ability to speak publicly should be a recipe for success. Recently named RI Chairman of the Veterans Party of America, he is a modern day Patriot. Acknowledging his fight has only just begun, Salvatore is pushing forward as a voice for one of our nation's finest assets: our proud and heroic veterans.
