Kelly & Mancini PC, Attorneys at Law, today filed a Complaint with the Board of Elections on behalf of the Cianci for Mayor Campaign, identifying specific violations and irregularities as perpetuated by Priorities PVD, a group of people organized with the intent to advocate against Independent Candidate for Mayor of Providence Vincent A. Cianci, Jr. and for the election of Candidate Jorge Elorza. Read the complaint below The Complaint against Jorge Elorza, Myrth York and Priorities PVD asserts that Myrth York and Priorities PVD have violated the Rhode Island Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Reporting Act (Act) by having formed a Political Action Committee (PAC) or some type of organization without filing a Notice of Formation with the RI Board of Elections and/or registering as a PAC with the Secretary of State and failing to file any campaign finance reports. The Complaint also asserts that Myrth York and Priorities PVD have acted in conjunction with Candidate Jorge Elorza’s Campaign in violation of the Act.
