RI Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis has announced that Friday, May 23rd, 2014 is the last day to register to vote, in order to be an eligible candidate for elected office.
Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis wants to remind candidates for elected office how important this deadline is. "Any person with the intention of declaring their candidacy for elected office must meet this voter registration deadline so they may be eligible to pursue public office," said Mollis.
The public and perspective candidates are encouraged visit the Secretary of State's online Voter Information Center at https://sos.ri.gov/vic/ to check their voter registration, find out who their elected officials are, locate their local board of canvassers, view sample ballots for upcoming elections, and find out where their polling place is.
Your name, date of birth and zip code or city/town of residence are required to view your personal voter registration record. All other data is available by using the general search option and entering just a street address and zip code or city/town.
