In a new book written by former child star Candace Cameron Bure, she writes "I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our relationship"  speaking of her marriage. This, which as you may imagine is causing a stir.  Once again agnostics and other religion haters are taking to the internet to bash Bure.

The former Full House star's book entitled,  Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose is her tale of her life as a working mother and wife. In a recent interview withHuffington Post (exert below) she explained (paraphrasing) that her comments were meant in the context of her principles taken from the Bible, for a strong marriage. 

Still the minions of hate, that stalk the web in pursuit of a new whipping post, sunk their teeth into Bure. However what surprises me is what, some in the mainstream are saying or not saying. Just today on Good Morning America, the panel weighed in......

"Not gonna judge," said Robin Roberts, putting her hands up in the air. "That's not hot, it's radioactive," said Josh Elliott.

First of all let me say to Josh Elloitt, neither are you, but Robin, ohhh Robin. Just last week you smiled, paused and announced your sexuality to the world, as if we cared. We were all supposed to embrace you for that, maybe even applaud. Certainly anyone, who would have shunned or condemned you would be labeled an ignoramus or homophobic. Honestly I don't have a problem with that, neither do most intelligent mouth breathers. Yet for Robin Roberts, lesbian extraordinaire, to inadvertently or indirectly imply that Bure's beliefs were foolish is 110% hypocritical.  However typical of today's double standard society. Except the Muslim extremist, the gays, the illegal immigrants, but laugh and mock the Christians for believing in the sanctity of something as foolish as marriage vows. The same vows Roberts and her fellow lesbians have fought so hard to receive.

Huffington Post Article - She writes in her book, "I am not a passive person, but I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our relationship because I wanted to do everything in my power to make my marriage and family work."Bure elaborated on HuffPost Live, "The definition I'm using with the word 'submissive' is the biblical definition of that. So, it is meekness, it is not weakness. It is strength under control, it is bridled strength."

Cameron has defended her view of marriage in the past. On Christian Women Online she quoted the biblical passage, "First Peter 3:1 says, 'In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives.'"
