And because our personalities are so big and strong, our opinions are generally presented with passion and vitriol. We all have varying ideals of what is wrong with our culture, society, and our governance, but very rarely are will willing to take actions to affect actual change. So I want to, from time to time, introduce an outside, non-partisan interpretation of a looming social issue. This outside perspective is intended to create not an argument, but rather a dialogue that will hopefully become a catalyst for action regarding issues that we should all care about. Today's topic is: Why is health care so expensive in the United States? We are one of the only states in the world without national health care, but yet, our taxes are among the highest in the world.
