Pal, Wild Side Clyde, Todd Giroux on WBOB We all know the two things you are not supposed to discuss in public. I, for one take that lore quite literally. I may be buried for decades before anyone ( if they care ) pieces my political views together. It is not as if I do not care, or I am unaware. It is not a lack of education and it sure not a heavy dose of blind ignorance. It is just not in my makeup to engage in a conversation of left vs right. An argument on health care or government spending is something I shy away from. Why I choose this may be irrelevant to you however I will share my major ultimate view. Call it a principle, a way of life. I believe in your right to be heard. Your right to bitch, your right to stand up to the man and say HEY!!!! Liberty Love Fest That being said you can see how a guy like me tends to befriend an odd cast of characters. One of these said individuals a Mr. Christopher Kairnes was instrumental in an event of immeasurable positive effects. Liberty Love Fest was held in Worcester, MA this past weekend and it was indeed a fest of liberty. In order for one to give an accurate description of this affair... I must begin with the venue. The official name of the building is the Osgood Bradley Building. In reality, I don't have the slightest clue as to Mr. Bradley was or is but I can tell you this, his name is used on a mostly abandoned early 1900's factory site. The fest itself was held on the 8th floor penthouse and offered overnight stay on the 4th. An old service elevator offers the most convient transportation to the party as well as a brief thrill ride. Chris Kairnes, Wild Side Clyde, Dan Bidondi Upon your arrival on the 8th floor you gaze upon a truly inspirational site. Months of hard work and planning by Kairnes and his staff payed huge dividends. Every last detail was set to perfection. From the red, white and blue striped poles, to the stenciled art work, all the way to construction of the stage, bar and advertising layouts. The mood was properly set or should I say constructed for a rally of liberty. Taking full advantage of the ambiance, freedom speakers, musicians and seekers of liberty in general successfully united for a full day of celebration. Ideas, views and thoughts were shared, Money was raised to help fund Ron Paul delegates. An impressive gathering of free thinkers, hosted by a man and his group who can proudly say "we did something". SCR Broadcasting WBOB WBOB did its part as both The Wild Side & Sovereign Citizen Radio broadcasted live, which was a tremendous success. Although, I am not a Ron Paul supporter, and as mentioned will opt not to discuss my personal views, I did enjoy my time at the Liberty Love Fest. Perhaps that is what made this such a sucess. Judgments were cast aside at least for a day to help better the many. Americans caring for other Americans. Plans for change, hope still alive and thriving. Tune in to WBOB's Saturday Line up for more on this and other similar subjects. - Pal |
