Wild Side Episode #253 2/23/16 - What does New England winter weather and a progressive liberal have in common? Both are cold, cruel, and unforgiving, especially the liberal. However here on the WildSide, Professor David Clyde and co-host John Kurbiec are warm, understanding, and open minded.
In the latest episode of the Wild Side, the duo discuss how Obama is being disrespectful to the passing of former SCOTUS Justice Scalian (barely showing up at the wake) and how this personifies his dislike and unwillingness to acknowledge the opposition, how the Potus is planning to release more Guantanamo Bay detainees in order to shut down GITMO and try to appoint his own judge before the end of his presidency.
Joining for a second week in a row with guest Author John Potash. This time around, they talk about Potash’s second book The FBI War on Tupac and Its Black Leaders. During their discussion, they talk about how the former rapper had family connections in the Black Panthers (i.e. mother, uncles, aunts) Tupac’s rise into star power in the rap industry, how he only pretended to be a gangster in order to reach youths in actual gangs to convince them that lifestyle, and how the CIA felt threatened by Tupac’s influence and went out of their way to poison him, beat him, and was even had a hand in the rapper’s untimely demise. Also the real deal herself, Doreen Costa, drops by to give folks an insight of what’s going on in the RI political scene including how RI Governor Gina Raimondo wants to levy a $150-dollar per plant tax on medical marijuana users.
