MURICA: 5 Reasons Why It's Great to Be an American

So far in 2015, we in America have been confronted with some really heavy issues -- ranging from race-motivated police killings to gay rights. Heck, we even turned on the Dukes of Hazard. So, in spirit of Independence Day it's time to shed the negativity.  So, here are 5 great reasons why it's great to be an American.

5. Bill of Rights

Want a gun? Go get one!  Praying in public? Choose your religion (or make one up) and go for it! Want to break the law and get arrested? You've got rights!

Americans often take for granted the freedoms that the U.S. Constitution affords us. It may not be a perfect society, but we enjoy a level of freedom from government control that exists in few other places around the globe.

4. 24 Hour EVERYTHING

It's 3 AM, and you need a coffee -- You're covered. You need some toilet paper, there's a store for that. Craving a burrito? Done. Heck, you can even get a haircut!
