Going to the mall can be a normal activity for many people people to shop or just walk around and hang out...during business hours. However, some people have other intentions and really don't care whether or not the mall is open. Usually in this case, a person will break in to rob merchandise or cash, and attempt to flee without getting arrested. In 35 year-old Arthur Walker's case, he took the concept of robbing the mall to a whole different level. Arthur drove into a Dallas shopping mall, driving completely naked. He then proceeded to try on clothes from a Champs Sporting Goods store. Police showed up to find him trying on a pair of socks and a brand new pair of Nike sneakers. He was taken into custody by Dallas police, and was later evaluated by a psychiatrist based on the fact that he decided to all of this in all his naked glory. He was later deemed completely sane, but was found to be on drugs. After he was transported back to the police station, they discovered that he was involved in a domestic dispute an hour prior to going on his naked shopping spree. He was held on burglary charges for all his fun. I can understand someone breaking into somewhere to steal things, but who has enough balls to be driving around completely naked and then decide to break into a mall. I mean perhaps he decided that instead of going home to get dressed, he said to himself, "Hey I am naked, but there's is a mall! Let me bust through the door and take some clothes to wear." Even though Arthur was deemed sane, in my opinion there are a few screws loose in his head. Talk about making a public spectacle of yourself. -Coach- |
