Valentine's Day is right around the corner and let's face it, you're probably still scrambling to pick the perfect restaurant for you and that special someone. Fear not, we've put together a list of some great local spots offering an array of Valentine's Day-themed events that won't break the bank. Keep reading to find out more. Rooftop at the Providence G

If you're looking for a unique Valentine's Day experience, check out Providence's only rooftop lounge. Located on Dorrance St., Rooftop at the G's Valentine's Day three-course prefix menu includes shellfish chowder, charcuterie and cheese, and filet mignon. Not to mention, local live pianist Alissa Musto will be providing the musical accompaniment. One of the more affordable options on our list, Terrazza is offering a three-course Valentine's Special for just $34.99 per person. Main course options include brown sugar pan seared Scottish salmon and wild mushroom ravioli. The special also includes a glass of red or white wine. Contemporary Theater Company

Why not skip the main course and go right for dessert? Indulge your sweet tooth at South Kingstown's Contemporary Theater Company's 5th Annual Chocolate and Wine Tasting. This year's menu includes three desserts: Chocolate Crunch Layer Cake, Chilled Chocolate Truffle Soufflé, and Silken Chocolate Fondue. Each dessert is also paired with wine.

Stillwater Tavern

If you're not in the mood for prefix menus and fancy desserts, Sons of Liberty Spirit Co. has the perfect event for you. The award winning distillery will be hosting the "Whiskey Is My Valentine" event from 6pm to 9pm. Instead of flowers and chocolates, why not have whiskey, beer and cocktails? And what's more, there's no cover charge. So drop by and enjoy a single barrel whiskey or one of their famous cocktails. No reservations are needed.

Trattoria Romana

Trattoria Romana's menu items are moderately priced and entrées range between $17.95 and $34.95.

Easy Entertaining

Located at the Rising Sun Mills in Providence, Easy Entertaining has been providing Rhode Islanders with farm fresh food since 2006. Like year's past, the local catering company will be offering a Valentine's Day tasting dinner featuring tapas style small plates and hand-selected wine pairings. This year's special menu features thirteen vegetarian options under $9 and thirteen meat and fish options ranging from $5 to $25. And what's more, there's also several dessert options including the "chocolate trio," which includes chocolate coconut cake, chocolate moose, and banana walnut terrine for $8.
