The Affordable Care Act is illegal. It violates the 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It represents a failure on the part of the Legislative, Executive, & Judicial branches to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. In addition to the further deterioration of the Bill of Rights, the Affordable Care Act creates a dangerous precedent which will condemn future generations of Americans to far less freedom than we enjoy today. Even the freedom of choosing what to eat for breakfast could be in jeopardy. It is NOT the role of Government to ensure that medical care is affordable, but if this fallacy is accepted then the flawed logic continues: Government would be responsible for ensuring people have "access" to medical care - which leads to Government being responsible for ensuring that people are able to maintain a minimum standard of health - which leads to Government having a legitimate reason to scrutinize and regulate anything that would affect that minimum standard of health. This manifests in three ways: First, the food we eat has a huge impact on our health - Government would be justified in having more intensive control over the food supply, possibly even becoming responsible for ensuring that people have a minimum amount to eat (imagine the logistics of that!) and dictating what quality and quantity of food people consume. Second, the products we buy could affect our health so Government would be justified in more intensive control over what products are sold in stores and what we use at home. Third, our behavior/ the activities we participate in everyday - from bike riding, to skiing, to painting...all of our diverse pastimes and recreational activities would now be subject to scrutiny by Government because of the possible negative effect on a person's health. Does this sound absurd? Haven't you already seen Government attempts to control these aspects of our lives?  "Obamacare" is just another symptom of that cultural disease which has affected our country - a failure to understand the true achievement that is America. We are NOT property, we are NOT slaves, and we are NOT livestock!

Pal decides to have a cookout for all the wonderful 990wbob celebrities in the back yard of his place.  You can look around the yard and see Sal guzzling a beer, Ferro is at the grill cooking up some nice juicy bacon cheeseburgers.  Bob is munching on a slice of cheese cake.  Of course you will find me and Sam sharing a bottle of Old Crow back in the corner somewhere under a poison ivy bush.  And the story goes on and on throughout the day until suddenly the SWAT team rolls up in the driveway and starts pepper spraying the whole lot of us simply because we are not following good health practices according to their rules.
Okay, use your imagination.
The next thing you know, we are all at some FEMA camp being forced to do calisthenics and eating only bland vegan food and no booze in a hundred miles.
Sorry, I will fight to the end and die a free man before ever signing up for O-care.

Personal freedom has defined America since the very beginning; it’s painful to see a value of which our country was founded upon begin to erode away. Like the saying goes, “give them inch and they’ll take a mile”; the health insurance mandate might not seem like much yet, however, allowing the government to determine how an individual person can and should spend their money is the first step down a road on which we not seek to travel.

Think of what could be next? Online only applications are now the norm for most decent jobs. So, shouldn't we all be required to buy internet access?  Communication is a must.  How about some cellphone-care?   Or perhaps the next time one of our made in the USA car makers like Ford or GM takes a turn for the worst, the government should allows us to only buy domestic?

I'm for the concepts of healthcare reform, if not universal access to healthcare, in principal. While I see the slippery slope, and often argue vehemently against it, I also reason that it's impossible to pursue life, liberty and happiness if your 6 year old has leukemia and you can't afford the necessary care. When the bold candidate Obama was elected on a platform of hope and change, I assumed he'd at least try to bring true reform to whatever venture upon which he looked to burn his political capital. When it became clear that venture was to be healthcare I expected him to seek consensus; ignoring ugly politics, discarding entrenched campaign financiers and actually fixing a very deep problem with some bold solutions and solid leadership. These were his promises after all.
What we got instead was business as usual: A massive expansion of government bloat costing us trillions of dollars and rolling back cherished freedoms while actually improving nothing. Our great Orator in Chief turned out to be a terrible listener. When the voters of Massachusetts, of all places, elected a Republican to fill the seat of Democratic stalwart Ted Kennedy in a de facto referendum of these reforms, their voices were ignored. Some of the most die hard liberals in the country rejected the well laid plans of their anointed one and still they marched on.
Under margins slimmer than expected, this terribly flawed legislation was rushed, unread, through Congress. No meaningful debate was aired, the pleas of the people were discarded. The Federal government got bigger, the insurance companies got richer and the common citizen paid the price. What was, by now, supposed to be the dawn of a better day has instead seen this country slip deeper into darkness.

The Health care in America was not broke -yes it needed some tweaking but is was not broke. The Doctors insurance premiums were extremely expensive because of the law suits and that is just one of the reasons cost were sky rocketing. But the Healthcare was good -good enough where members of the Canadian Government would come down to the USA for heart and cancer surgery and treatment -Wealthy people from all over the world would fly the America and pay for treatment. Than Obama played rich against poor and his famous "distribution of Wealth" and Healthcare for all, this healthcare crisis was Obama made to win a presidency and it was his HallMark moment. The DEMOCRACTS passed Obamacare without reading all the Progressive fine print and a Judge declared this force payment is not a tax thus we have Obamacare. The Heath care future of America will not be second rate many Doctors will retire and Obama's broker promise of you can keep your Doctors was a lie and is now a proven fact. Because the Government will dictate what coverage you need premiums will raise and competition will fall off leaving the Government as you primary Doctor. The Government will dictate what treatment you have for different health diseases like cancer-organ transplants-to knee replacements and everything in between. The State will determined what is best for you NOT THE DOCTORS. This will lead to a one pay healthcare with the Government being the only Doctor in town. Your will terms like Death Panels which is when your treatment is denied or you are giving the cheap way out , you will hear Life Credits is when your portion of care has been depleted. The Gov will dictate salaries of Doctors to nurses because the Government will determined what procedures should cost. The companies that make medical devices and the medicine have been penalized by taxes employees have been burden by regulations no one can figure out heck the state cannot even get the web site to work. If The Afforadable Health Care Act is so good why is the President and the Senate-Congress-City Unions -major Union exempt? Simple, because Obamacare Sucks!
