Providence Taxi Drivers Union Endorses Cianci

Independent candidate for Providence Mayor Vincent A. Cianci, Jr. has been endorsed by the Providence Taxi Drivers Union. 

“We are very pleased with the decision to offer our Union’s support,” Said Ramon Perez, Providence Taxi Drivers Union President.  “We think Mr. Cianci has the proper leadership qualities needed to move our city forward and believe that he is the most suitable candidate to serve as mayor.  We look forward to an increase in passenger numbers that will come along with Mr. Cianci’s election.”

Cianci said, “I appreciate the endorsement of the Providence Taxi Drivers Union and the support of these hard-working individuals who help both the tourists and residents of our city and state with their services.  There is no such thing as a thriving metropolitan area without reliable taxi drivers.”
