Rhode Island Republican Party Chairman Brandon S. Bell commented: “Since 2015, Rhode Island Republicans have been speaking out against taxpayer funding for a new Pawsox Stadium. I know Rhode Island State House Democrats do not like listening to Republicans, but maybe they will listen to a top State House Democrat from Worcester, Massachusetts? But in Rhode Island, Governor Raimondo, Senate President Ruggerio and House Speaker Mattiello all support or have supported taxpayer funding for a new Pawsox stadium. When will Rhode Island Democrats learn? How did we in Rhode Island get stuck with such a bunch of fools on Smith Hill?”
Bell concluded: “I have a trade proposal: Massachusetts can have the Pawsox and our State House leadership (which includes a possible Presidential candidate), and we’ll take Massachusetts’ lower taxes and better schools. Now that is a Pawsox deal the taxpayers can get on board with. Is it a deal Worcester?” Read More 990WBOB |
