Monday marked day one of my experiment to spend seven days living an entertaining and active lifestyle while maintaining a budget of sixty American Dollars. If I am to succeed, I will need to spend less than an average of $8.57 per day.
I went to the ATM and withdrew 3 Andrew Jackson's, marking the start to my quest. I must disclose that I will have some level of reliance on existing resources. For instance, I am starting with a little more than a quarter tank of gas. I also have a few (very few) rations in my cupboard. (Basically: Bread, Peanut Butter, Chicken, a few frozen pizzas, and noodles). Any expenses beyond that will come directly out of my thin stack of twenties.
Let's Review the Dollar by Dollar Breakdown for day #1:
So, I was a little over budget today, but it was a great start to the week. I look forward to finding more fun things to do on this limited budget. Check in to see how I am doing tomorrow.
