We all speed, sometimes.
But not many of us are willing (or stupid enough) to eclipse the 100 MPH level, especially not on Rhode Island's heavily trafficked Six-Ten Connector.
Enter Onasi Olio-Rojas. The 20-year old driver was seriously hurt after crashing into a garbage truck Wednesday afternoon, after swerving his Honda Civic in and out of traffic, using the breakdown lane at times, to reach speeds of more than 115 MPH on the Providence highway. Worse, Olio-Rojas was filming himself, posting to Facebook Live the entire ordeal.
Let's hope that Mr. Olio-Rojas recovers, and learned valuable lessons in speeding, distracted driving, and handing evidence to police with a bow on it.
The highway was obstructed Wednesday for more than two hours during the rescue/cleanup efforts.
