Monday's Music Spotlight: Circuit des Yeux at The Columbus Theater This Weekend

Critically acclaimed national act Circuit des Yeux is heading to  Providence on Sunday, Oct. 30. As part of their national tour the group will be at The Columbus Theatre with Ryley Walker.

Frontwoman Haley Fohr’s music strikes a unique balance between the personal and universal. As Circuit des Yeux she creates music that embodies the complexity of human emotions, juxtaposing tenderness and grief, ecstasy and horror, using sounds as representations of the emotional spectrum that we all experience.

This show follows Fohr's recent performance at Pitchfork Music Festival, as well as her performance as part of Glenn Branca's Guitar Orchestra at Red Bull Music Festival. Earlier this summer, Fohr released a new, self-titled album under her country-midwestern monkier Jackie Lynn and will be touring the East Coast with members of Bitchin Bajas, who also appear on the record.
